A wonderful story pre pandemic... when we used to pop by friends houses. My friend had me paint her friend with his best friend and when his other friends saw that painting, the other friend had me paint her husband with his best friend. Being a small (and friendly) world, it turned out that I had photographed Gary and Umi at an event over 10 years ago and had captured an intimate moment between best friends resulting in the portrait above.
